NSW: Detainees riot at Woomera =2

Woomera service station owner Dave Kirby described the scene.

"A bit after 11 o'clock the first fire started and there were massive explosions of
gas bottles, 30-40 foot (10 to 13 metre) high walls of flame," Mr Kirby told ABC radio.

"It just went from there, from building to building, along the fences, and burnt from
after 11 o'clock to two o'clock in the morning."
